What is Opendoorline™?

Opendoorline™ is a fully managed employee concern/complaint management program designed by small business entrepreneurs for small and midsize businesses and non-profits.

Our solution is elegantly simple, and allows businesses to improve dialogue between employees and decision makers through multiple and integrated communication methods... without any impacts to your IT infrastructure, or additional demands on your staff.

We work as an extention of your leadership team or audit commitee by receiving, tracking, and managing employee concerns of all types.  These can range from very serious allegations to suggested improvements.  We typically handle four categories of complaints, each with its own set of procedures in place for resolution. Opendoorline Portal

  • Employment Practice Complaints
  • Working Conditions
  • Operational Issues
  • Accounting, Financial, Auditing Matters

Having strong policies, clear communication methods for employees to express concerns or complaints, and strong external management will provide significant protections against real or contrived EEOC claims and litigation.

Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002 (SOX)

Opendoorline™ complies with SOX requirements for a confidential whistleblower hotline that addresses:

  • The receipt, retention and treatment of complaints received by the issuer regarding accounting, internal accounting controls or auditing matters, and
  • The confidential, anonymous submission by employees of the issuer of concerns regarding questionable accounting or auditing matters.

We maintain strict confidentiality for SOX related concerns, providing applicable information only to authorized recipients such as your Board's Audit Committee Chair.

While currently only publically traded companies are required to comply with SOX rules, more and more small firms and non-profits are establishing Audit Committees and implementing safeguards.
